   I've always been fascinated by the idea of an entire genre like New Beat. I've probably been listening to a lot of it without even knowing it was New Beat to begin with...

   A few years ago I downloaded some DJ mixes by Mixomatosis, New Beat Take 0 and Take 69. They can be very helpful to give you an idea of New Beat.

    Guys I have to say, a few months later and I'm still loving this stuff. I missed the movement by about 10 years and this stuff is surprisingly hard to find on disc... I don't have tables. :(((
