Good idea (except Dark Illumination :D). MC/deltaE has a "new" track on the Old School Electrology compilation. Maybe not so good like the "Legend of Deformation"/"Second Move" stuff, but still Mortal Constraint.

    Dark Illumination...the vocals...arghhhh. :D

OK, i liked some of their Electro Boogie stuff (from Dead Planet). Very funky and Anthony Rother-like.

  5. Oh no, not this thread again. Every year we get a thread on what happened to so&so. And then some of them come back and 9 times out of 10 it is very anti-climactic.

PF7 moved on to other styles of music. As did Dark Illumination. People get married/have kids. Just appreciate what they did and don't expect them to come back and make the same. So many of these artists were perfect in thier time, but they are not necessary now. Or they changed thier style completely. Wait till you people finally hear what Ingo is doing with kAlte fArben. He left Dark Elektro behind in the dust.

    Have these threads ever worked?

Maybe we can resurrect Dwayne and have a true Puppy reunion if we try hard enough?

How about a thread where we beg for bands to just stop and go away?

When i opened this i thought PF7 and mortal constraint were coming out with a split EP called dark illumination haha! Excellent artists like these know when their work is complete. This is partially why I admire them so much... like Black Oil is saying, there are far too many acts similar that don't know their time has expired.

  10. Why download when you get all three CD's used for so cheap?

Maybe i'll buy all three again just to have extra copies for the next time this thread comes around. I can be the rivet Santa Claus. ha ha

I really loved Dark Illumination. Sidewinder, Clear, Keep That Frequency, Rejection, Concrete Age, Xenophobia. Mental Breakdown, Electronic to Mechanic work. They had a ton of really well done tracks with a lot of detail and substance.
