Hey guys, I just checked up on the Portion Control web page and they mention that they're working on a new album which, from the description, looks like it might be called, "Full Bloodied."

Again, I'm not sure about the title but it seems like a possibility given the description.

They're also putting out a new EP, "One Ton Son" of Onion Jack material.

Sounds great to me. I just wish they'd put out that DVD individually so I could afford it!

@panzerschreck, check out their other releases, they are a lot more diverse than shown by that album. That compilation, CROP, is a good place to start.

Portion Control's comeback is one of the best news that happened to electronic music last decade. I really look forward to a new one, I'd like it to be like Violently Alive or Filthy White Guy, that is, more vocal-song-oriented, but a bit more diverse that these two albums.

Personally I'd prefer a new Well Come. It's one of my favourite albums in this genre spectrum ever.
Compared to that, Violently Alive is nothing more than a decent EBM album. :)

There last release was their best more convincing as a whole album whereas before sounded like different tracks made over many years - so not too sure about the Onion Jack thing. It's about time they moved on from Onion Jack. As I said their last release far outshone their earlier material. But great they are working on new stuff!

Saying all this Portion Control are one of the best electronic groups around in the scene at the moment. Always interesting always diverse!

Really? I think Violently Alive is more of a "compilation" release despite the very similar tracks, where Well Come works best a one long listen through both of the CDs. The fact that it's so varied is just one of its strengths...

I like just about everything Portion Control has put out. Wellcome is great but not what I would suggest to a person who has never heard Portion Control. I don't think I'd suggest Violently Alive as a first listen either. Both of those albums seem like extremes of the (modern) Portion Control sound.

What about Slug or Filthy White Guy? Those 2 albums are great examples what Porcon does when they mix it up a little more.

I'd recommend Filthy White Guy. It has some vocal songs and some instrumental ones; a bit of everything. Slug and Wellcome too experimental for a beginner. Violently Alive too linear. But I love all of them, to me, Portion Control's return is awesome.
