people spend more money on lunch.. and twice as much with a drink or two
entertainment of this quality is easily worth the price
as far as replayability... with the first one at least.. there were achievements.. like passing the levels making as few portals as possible.. haven't gotten this one yet, i've enough distractions at the moment, but i'll definitely be getting this over steam when they either drop the price or have more DLC stuff available
any of you guys play Team Fortress 2? its been a while since i have, but it has been my favorite shoot em up since Unreal Tournament
People pay more than a video game, that can last as long as you want to play it for, to go to a baseball game or something.

Im not questioning paying for games, but paying full price for games with little bang for the buck. I think the smartest thing to do is what soiledge said before: wait a bit for the prices to go down or for a discount. Anyways im not saying if you pay full price you're an idiot, there are several games that worth it, but IMO others dont.

Portal 2 is great. The portal series of games is one of the funnest games I have played in years. I just tried co-op tonight for the first time and it's awesome!
