    Who can say to me which synthetiseurs was used to record this song ??

  2. Vince Clark's gear list is fucking huge

    i can't discern a synth simply listening to a song unless its something i use all the time

    if one were so inclined.. you could probably narrow the possibilities down by making a list of popular analog synthesizers that were made by the time this song came out.. then cross reference it with a list of known gear that Vince Clark has used

    i'll make a stab in the dark though and say.. i think it is a Roland System 100m

  3. in 1983 Clark still had a pretty modest studio. In Yazoo he was using a Pro One, there are vids of him using a Roland SH-09 live, so you can assume that was on the recording as well. He also used the Fairlight CMI [digital sampler] a bit and I read that he used a Casio CZ on some tracks. I cannot imagine his gear list changed much in the transition to The Assembly.
