    What are the weirdest/oddest/most obscure/out of place covers in the industrial scene?

    A cover that just doesn't make any sense, whether it's really good or not.

    I heard a cover on Real Industrial Radio of Gangsters Paradise by Battery. That was a confusing night for me.

    To clarify in case my words got muddled, Battery was performing the Gangsters Paradise cover.

    Coil - Going Up. A cover version (of sorts) of the theme tune to terrible British 60's/70's sitcom 'Are You Being Served?':

    Our own coverversion of "Pulling on the boots" from the romper stomper soundtrack would possible qualify. I posted it on this forum before. This is a live version. The studio version (which sounds much better) can be found on the "Monopoly of violence" album. I also recommend reading the comments. Lots of neo-nazi's who can;t stand the fact the singer is black. :D

    Leaether Strip and Rummelsnuff! Hoorah!

    Speaking of out of place covers we did, I once did a cybergrind cover of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"

    That was an interesting experience.

    Then there's V/Vm, more remixes than covers.

    @TreMisanthrope
    Are you kidding?! That cover by Battery is better than the original if you ask me. I think that's the whole point of a cover is to put your own spin on something that is so familiar to people.

    I seem to recall a Prager Handgriff-cover of Samantha Fox's Touch Me that was pretty great. :D

    Also, Rummelsnuff is odd even when they are not making a cover... or even when they are not making music.
