  1. Hello there. I just found out that the new Nitzer Ebb album Industrial Complex will be sold in so far 4 different editions. We have this version:
    http://www.discogs.com/Nitzer-Ebb-Industrial-Complex-Belgian-Edition/release/2106229
First i thought that the Belgian Alfa-Matrix would be the only one that hold a bonus disc with a lot of remixes. BUT when i heard that a friend of mine got a remix on the official release and i couldent find it on the alfa - matrix release i searched on major records homepage and look what i found: http://www.majorrecords.de/Webshop/index.php?prod=65&cat=10&page=details&sub=More+information
THey have a totally different bonus disc included on their release...hmmmm Are they Milking or what.

And finally we have the two Tour edition of the album. That not hold any bonustracks at all...

    http://www.discogs.com/Nitzer-Ebb-Industrial-Complex-Tour-Edition/release/2093542
And one that t are exactly like the one over but released by nitzer ebb themself...

Im not sure if i should like this or not.....I ordered the belgian edition because i heard that i got a bonus cd if i ordered that one. So now when i found that i got more remixes on the major records release than i got on alfa matrix one i feel that i am a little bit disapointed.....:( Are tha Nitzer Ebb fans so little so they need to milk as much as they can? Ok for the moment i havent money and that could be one reason to why i feel a little bit upset over this thing....but as a collector on good stuff i will need to have at least both alfa and major records releases....

I wonder if anyone else have thinking about this...

I got it from Alfa Matrix too ! And the remixes by Leæther Strip & Pouppee Fabrikk are amazing.
The others remixes from major records really don't interest me at all ! My choice was not difficult !
The "sound from the matrix 10" sampler are good too !

  6. Got my Alfa Matrix - package yesterday and the Major Records - edition a week ago. Need to "dive" into it :-)

  7. My favorite tracks are "Going Away", "I Am Undone" and "Promises" so far.

And I really enjoyed all of the remixes, especially the ones by Alan Wilder, Leaether Strip and Tom Furse.

i heart me some dark texas!

As I'm completely obsessed with the Alan Wilder remix of "I Am Undone", I have to go with the Major Records version. Of course, I'll probably end up getting all of them (already bought the digital version of the tour edition).

  9. I got the digi version of the Tour Edition from Amazon. The remixes did nothing for me at all and the art is even pretty crappy. I really love the album though.

The different versions are obvious if you have been following the news on their site since before the album. The crew were not positive that anyone would give a shit if they came back, so the first release of the album was limited, from a basically unknown label that mostly did soundtracks, just to test the waters. The 2 editions from Major Records were planned after the Tour Edition and all the promotions went so well. Alfa Matrix licensed the release from Major [Nitzer Ebb is not signed to AM-regardless of what some people claimed or what the press release implied] and the remixes were chosen rather logically, the most popular "industrial" acts on the AM version, and there was a remix contest going since mid last year that Major Records picked through for their version.

I have the alfa-matrix version. I wanted remixes of other songs that just Once you Say. I wanted My Door is Open. I also wanted a front 242 remix; oh well.

  11. Yeah, the Alan Wilder remix is excellent, but apart from that, the remix CD isn't that interesting I think. How are the Alfa-Matrix remixes?
