Fun fact: The entire album is already all covers of my music. Those little scamps, at it again. :)
Front 242, FLA and SA 42 of course, but it would also be interesting to see how other artists would remix NEP:
-Vitalic
-Junkie XL
-Motor
-Boys Noize
-Pendulum
-Monolith
-Geistform...
Sorry to spoil the party! I had a few Nitzer Ebb vinyl's and they never really rocked my boat.
Thank you. Your opinion has been acknowledged and we will proceed to ignore it.
I pre-ordered it the same day the info came.....i have all other NEP albums so this is a must have...and it is better than big hit that i think is their worse album.....but not as good as belief that i think is their best album.:)
What cd did I pick up at their tour then? Still haven't listened to it yet, so I'm not sure how different the tracklist is.
Great news!!! I'll get that new album in january!
But I won't get the T-Shirt, why such a t-shirt??? Why not a great NEP T-Shirt with the package? weird
@S80
"3. No" Are you high? DMeyer has SKILLS.
Listen to all you giddy little girls. I think congratulations goes out to Bernard for being able to attach the Alfa Matrix stamp to a NEP release.
I'm not a big fan of this label, but I am usually quite shocked & surprised by some of the bigger names and talent in this scene that have signed on.
DMyer is what DMyer is, boring. At this point in his career I firmly believe it was earlier band mates that were able to add the pepper to the baked potato.
@CthuLee
No, but I am drunk. I love old Haujobb but give me a break. Ninetynine was the last good thing to come out of that camp. Polarity was so bland and boring I listened to it a couple and put it away, Vertical Theory was even worse, I bought it, listened to the first 2 songs and took it out halfway through the third song. If they did a remix in their old style I would love it but like many of the mid-late 90's industrial/ebm bands their glory days are long behind them.
I don't mean to hijack this thread into a Haujobb debate but....
I don't understand how people can like "Solutions for a Small Planet" and not see "polarity" as a continuation of that style. "Polarity" has some of the best vocals on any Haujobb release. "99" was ok. It had great production but somehow lacked the tone I was hoping to hear;the female vocals are too wispy (I actually think she's flat most of the time) for me.
I think Haujobb could easily create a tight remix for Nitzer Ebb.
I'm actually looking forward to the new Covenant. I know D. Meyer is now part of them, even though I have not liked the last two Haujobb albums I am eager to see what he is able to bring to their sound.
I still remember seeing Haujobb in Toronto and him busting out into Covenant's "One World, One Sky" in the middle of one of the blander newer songs.
all the remixes ive heard by myer in the past 8 years have been pretty awesome.
but really, i heard theres gonna be a "new kids on the block - i'll be loving you forever" cover as a bonus downloadable. can alfa-matrix confirm this ?
lol..again it turns into a debate about Daniel Myer and Haujobb. You people are funny.

Congrats to AM for being the Euro distributor for this new album. It is very good and I think people will enjoy it.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Scooter did a Nitzer Ebb cover. I'm surprised they haven't even referenced them in their "lyrics" yet.
