    Any questions?

And now look at the Bankside Power Station (the "venue they played at early on"):

This building is too big. It is definitely not the building from the IR logo.

  2. This can be argued until the end of time. It has never been substantiated and it was intentionally done that way.

  5. LOL@retrosonique: Oh man, I so agree with you. I feel repulsed now days when I hear the same typical detuned saw leads, predictable DOOM-PUTCCCHHH beats, and witch in a castle vocals. I do see Leatherstrip as the precursor to "hellectro/aggrotech", only in the manner he was doing vocals and layering compared to other acts at the time. But all this aggrotech is so cheesey. My friend, who is also a lifelong industrial fan(and who like me was big into modern EBM for ages) rolled his eyes when I showed him the Kinetik lineup this year. When an entire sound and subculture becomes laughed at by not just the outside world but by a lot of it's once longtime friends, that's a problem.

But to me the bottom line is when you compare pre trance EBM and industrial to the modern stuff...the modern stuff is extremely boxed in and narrow with it's format.
It was fists in the air excitement at shows, with crazy stage shows. There was a tension and unease you don't get with modern whateverpeoplecallitnow.

  6. Once again, glad to see a discussion happening here that involves ∆AIMON. We're putting out their next release, the "FLATLINER" EP on 12" and Digital. Should be out soon-ish.

They're playing at SXSW with a bunch of other awesome bands, so if you're close to Austin, you should go.

  7. Nice to hear Aimon made SXSW.

Do let us know when the Flatliner EP is released. Feel free to drop a thread with anything happening label-wise as well. :D
