    Definitely an underrated project. Standard Issue was very good and varied. I will check these samples when I get home.

    Looking forward to this, i still regularly spin dismantled at clubnights and the kids allways come up and ask what this and that song is called.

    The tragic thing is: Not a single soul in the german club scene understood the tongue-in-cheek lyrics of Standard Issue.

    However, what is even more tragic is that nobody buys Garys music, even the f***ing DJ's in this scene are free-loaders. (At least in Germany)

    I'm a pretty big Dismantled fan, and these new songs kick ass. They're probably the best stuff that I've heard from the project yet. They're dark and aggressive with bite, which I like. The new Dismantled album is one of my most anticipated of the year. I can't wait.

    Slightly off topic...I saw them open for FLA the other week in Houston TX, and it was a brilliant performance. Supposedly, they had the same in Austin TX.
    I assume from the previous posts that Gary is the vocalist (apologies for the ignorance on the matter). At the show, I heard several folks say they didn't care for the growl of the vox, but I thought the melodic quality was still there (like Standard Issue), just with more bite, as someone previously mentioned.

    got it today. it is a ... good album. it's like a different band made this, very modern very angry and with enough promotion could be the west coast's biggest group. this is not an average cd. i've liked most of dismantled's stuff, but didn't hear the last one, "when i'm dead".

    as people are saying, it is a departure from the last two albums. it's very high energy rough angry shit. this new album appeals to me even though i have only bought 5 new industrial cds (including this) over the past 4 years.

    Very good album indeed.

    As much as last year sucked for EBM, 2011 has had a bunch of great releases so far and we're only halfway through the year.

    Fractured, Die Sektor, Tyske Ludder, Dismantled, Distorted Memory etc... good stuff. Even the new KMFDM was a lot better than I expected.

    im not a huge dismantled fan, there are a bunch of tracks i love from previous releases. i saw the parental advisory sticker on the album and even though i swear like a drunken sailor it instantly kinda turned me off. i heard a track off the new album "dead on impact". the lyrics are insanely terrible, it's all like "I WANNA SLIT YOUR MOTHER FUCKING THROATTTTTTTTTTTT OVER AND OVER AGAINNNNNN" like...seriously? wow that's just beyond retarded. im not even really interested in the rest of the album, maybe it's because the only songs i like by dismantled are where he actually sings and doesn't scream.

    The new Dismantled album is good/solid but IMHO very much in the vain of "Standard Issue" and "When I´m Dead". No real innovations but still a very decent release.
