    Revolution State 'Viridian Resonance'

Around a decade ago, Revolution State was conceived by Ben P. and Bonnie P. RevState contributed two songs to the 2003 Velvet Acid Christ album Hex Angel: Utopia Dystopia: "Misery", and "Eva", as well as a remix for the 2006 VAC single 'Wound'. These tracks, along with numerous remixes for artists such as Neikka RPM, Necrotek, WASTE and others, in addition to the debut split EP, Revolution State Vs. Noizekatt, built a sturdy foundation for the Revolution State sound: a blend of beautiful electronics and harsh dissonant elements that generate a unique and varied experience for each listener.

For the past five years, RevState has been writing, singing, producing, engineering, painting, dreaming, and tweaking all those knobs in Red Dwarf Studio, with a plan to complete a brand new 13 track LP. Finally, Viridian Resonance is here: analogue laden electronoize with both harsh and haunting vocals that steps across the barriers of genre and sound, bringing you to a place where advanced technology, vintage musical equipment, and the philosophies of the now disbanded Viridian Design Movement will be used to help save this ebbing azure star we call the earth, and provide one hell of a soundtrack to accomplish it to. An eclectic and hypnotic blend of Industrial, Electro, and IDM, with lush textures and deep analog electronics.

    * Personal note: this album has tracks that are reminiscent of everything from Miss Kittin to Doubting Thomas to VAC. A very unique and interesting record. Recommended!

Statik Sky 'They Look To The Sky'

'They Look To The Sky' is a powerful debut - an energetic dance record that cuts across genres with a singular style all its own. Statik Sky combines elements of the old-school rave sound (reminiscent of early Prodigy and Chemical Brothers) with contemporary dark dance electronics to create driving, forceful grooves with a raw industrial edge. Statik Sky will appeal to all fans of hard dance music, old-school and new-school alike! Features remixes from Soman and SAM.
