I don't think you are to take their noir/cyberpunk style "plot" too literally, it's merely guiding the tracks. I like the theme of every single album more. Like the melancholic sound of Lost Alone, and how Crossroads has an atmosphere of change and finding yourself about it.

  2. @Sumez-but that is the duel appeal of the project. A lot of fans are actually interested in what happens in the plot.

Anyhow, this LP is still sitting with me. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

I'm loving it, and you guys all know how much of a supporter of them I've been for years.

It's a very intense listening experience for me as it reminds me of the music of an early anime that shaped a lot of who I am today. So in a sense it's a very personal feeling and RETRO is defintely a fitting title.

I am once again impressed by MIAB.

  4. when listing to RETRO i have the association to compare this album with an excellent wine.
like a glass of very good red wine it has
different layers, ruby red colors, subtle undertones, a complex sweet bouquet, an opulent texture, a great balance...

a lot of respect and of course tausend dank!
