which macbook pro should i buy for live purposes ? Does it have to be the i7 one's or can it be the older ones ? I need to be able to play live at least 4 audio tracks with fx on them... any idea? :|

Dude, I was running like 8 tracks per song, each with a load of individual effects and indiviual output channels for live work on my old Core 2 Duo MBP and not a hiccup. You'll be absolutely fine with any recent Macbook for sure.
aight. people say that macbooks can prolly run whatever i want without any problems.. heh now it's time go get the money ;/
it's cool :) i've just gotten a large monitor to hook it up to at home. now all i need is one of those rollable keyboards :))
isn't a computer running your music not "live purposes"?
when i play as clicks -> even tho alot of stuff is being played straight from the backing tracks -> i do have them split up into categories like drums, bass, synths, fx etc. I do have alot of fx on them like glitch, beat repeaters phasers delays etc which i do control live. + i use vanguard on stage as well conected to a small midi keyboard.
i guess that's what i DO call live purposes ;)
