    I tried filtering a guitar played with a e-bow thru that nasty little filter... Did three takes, put them together, added some delay, and it's DRONE HELL !!!!! Here's what it sounds like - the piece in itself is very generic, did that in three minutes just to test, it's not meant to end up on a record ha ha

    I have my monotron since may (got it as a present from Japan). I used it since that in 3-4 tracks. Made some effektsounds, a nice BD on this and a lot sound with very fast LFO and sond some of this clicky sound with LFO mod on the cutoff. Beside this I used the Monotron on for some sweep sounds.
    Of you can make more with a real synth, but it´s not a lost to have one (or 2)

    I made some pretty cool basslines by hitting sounds and then recording them as one shots and arranging them in a sequencer.

    I'm gonna try to use one with my "garage" band 1969 Was Fine to filter a guitar, in order to emulate a quarter note synth line, bup bup bup bup bup bup, for intros and stuff like that. The LFO and filter, applied to an external source, can give you some pretty incredible sequence-like tremolo.

    @Silikon-thank you!

    @XV- good idea, it is just that the rate is difficult to sequence, you are going to have the play the rest of the band to it, and not the other way around. The encoder pots on this thing is highly sensitive..

    just picked one up today. definitely worth it.
    now to write a song using only the monotron & other 'toys' i have lying around.
