not necessarily my favorites but i've gotten many good years of service out of my microKorg, MS2000R & PitchBlack.
    & great times with a T3, 01/Wfd & a Kaos pAd.

  7. Damn, I have played and owned all kinds of KORG gear. Rest in Peace man!

My favourites were the 01W, Delta, Mono/Poly, MS10/20, Polysix, X-series, the DW series, the Prophecy, the Wavestation..damn they made a lot of great stuff.

Right now all I have is the MS2k and my little Monotron. If I had more space I would probably collect all their pieces again.

For all his amazing accomplishments and gorgeous instruments there may yet be a spot in Hell for the man for all those early synths that used Korg's proprietary potted VCO and VCF modules that all of us who have serviced them have grown to despise. I still have an old Korg that cannot be repaired due to these evil contraptions.

However, I do not wish ill and certainly hope that he ends up in the right place for his religion. There is no doubt the man was a pioneer and visionary as much as Moog and Buchla and should there ever be a shrine to the Gods of Synthesis his name belongs on it.

BUT, if he had a hand in coding the OS of the DSS-1 then perhaps I am not so sure he doesn't deserve the place in Hell I mentioned. ;-)
