     Please note that tickets and passes will NOT be shipped in advance (exept for Diamond Passes) . They will be available for pick up at the door. Please bring with you a proof of payment (PayPal confirmation email) and ID to expedite the procedure.

     This is great news for us Europeans with high taxes, as getting the tickets shipped to me would legally require me to pay at least 30% extra for "importing" the ticket, even though it is not even going to be used here.

     ps: holy shit the tickets are expensive. I'm completely aware that can't complain because with a lineup like that it's understandable (unless you're WGT which for some reason is really cheap), and I'm probably gonna end up drinking for a lot more, but still... :)

     WGT tickets are cheaper because they have 20 000 people vs us lot less :), with the full package it come arround 45$ per day (for 11 to 12 bands) + tshirt +cd. If people pay 30$ or so to see show like VNV Nation/Skinny Puppy and other, I dont think its that expensive (yes I know sumez it`s cheaper in europe.. but here.. we have to pay at least double than WGT in flights to bring all those crazy german/belgium here ;) )

     if one day (duno if we will go untill there) we have 5000 people per day.. with the current budget we could put the tickets at 10$ per day :P so event cheaper than WGT

     WGT last time i checked was only pulling between 12,000- 15,000 the german press cites turnstyle numbers not actual ticket count so one person can be counted three or four times over the course of 4 days....

     mera luna and some outdoor festivals pull in these kind of large numbers but they bring in bigger commercial acts to do so like the prodigy or marylin manson, etc...

     also WGT has a BIG advantage over us here in Cannuck or the States, they have SOOOOO many german ebm acts and european acts that their traport costs/fees to the band are considerably smaller than ours for european acts, hence the significant price differences between the two!

     but if you are not planning to fly to germany, kinetik is a good deal for ebm/industrial enthusiasts...

     been to Deutschland 4 times and if i did not know people there already, it would have been very difficult for an anglo like me self to get around!

     people actually pay to see Marilyn Manson anymore? he got dropped by his label cuz he wasnt selling shit. i wouldnt consider him a commercial act of any kind.

     if Kinetik is too 'spensive for ya, then stay home. more beer and dancing space for me!!!!!

     WGT is mainly pay-to-play for anything other than the biggest names. You'd be really stupid to say no to play at WGT, so usually you'd pay your transport yourself.
     Kinetik doesn't have this luxury, and like "kinetikprod" said, they have to fly a lot of the bands in.
     Like I said, I'm not complaining about the price, it's just me who's stupid to pay for flying all the way to Canada, and then pay to see bands who need their flights to Canada covered as well.

     Whoa, I'm not sure if you're being serious in your post, but I think you need to take some time to learn to either read the tone/mood of someone else's post on an internet forum, or to control how your own post comes across (with all those exclamation marks).

     Of course I'm not saying anything negative about Canada, why the hell else would I pay a fortune to go there every year? My post was obviously a self ironic comment on the cost of the travel, and not related to the destination itself.

     if you are lucky you will maybe be on the bands flights we sometime have 3 to 6 bands on the same flights from frankfurt since ALL euro flights transit by there :P and yes this flights turn to a big party in the sky for what I heard hehe (noisuf-x, funker vogt, rabia sorda, xotox and other where all on the same flight in 2008)

     @EBM

     10K 20K 15K whatever.. its still WAY over what we will ever get and we are not looking for that, Kinetik festival will never be an outside festival and we will never put 3-4 shows at the same time, its not the concept we want to go for. At 2000 people per night I would be happy and the festival would be a nice North American Festival. As for the fee question I will not talk about that here, but I do know that we always get better deal on fees than Euro festival since we have to pay way more in transport, at the end the big difference it that Euro festival have a bigger exposure in Europe than us here in North America. And please, can we not start who went in germany and how much time.. it`s also not the point here
