Imperative Reaction and Run Level Zero has been added to the lineup. Being a fan of IR, this is very appreciated! However, now seeing the lineup for Thursday, I think I'm not going to survive for the next 3 days. Too much awesomeness concentrated...

    Leaether Strip [DK]
    Vomito Negro [BE]
    Tyske Ludder [DE]
    Imperative Reaction [US]
    16 Volt [US]
    Chemlab [US]
    Left Spine Down [CA]
    Alter Der Ruine [US]
    Gothsicles [US]
    Caustic [US]
    T-Faktor [US]
    Left Side Neighbour [CA]

also, Komor Kommando and Destroid swapped days, which makes Phase 4 that much more insanely awesome! :D

@Apexxx- it's not the actual line-up ORDER (I'm playing last again, for instance-- too much to clean up like last year:)), but it should be pretty darn close to who's actually playing on what days.

And I'm already extremely excited to see everyone and enjoy some more of Montreal.

Good to hear you're playing last again, it seems fitting for a band like yours. I love how the festival turned on the lights, apparently trying to put the night to an end while your band was still playing last time.

  5. Also, good to see even more Scandinavian representatives on the bill! :)

@ Caustic - yeah I figured that was the case, as this years time slots didnt reflect the Kinetik website "line-up". But that sucks Caustic is last again, in terms of people possibly not sticking around due to exhaustion or the bar running dry again.

I think Caustic made quite an impression last year and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people would stick around.

If we're allowed to do what we WANT to do (and I've had good indications this is the case), I think anyone who DOES stay will get to rub it in everyone's faces the rest of the fest.

We've got, as they say, "plans".

And it doesn't involve my balls, and it doesn't involve me being MORE drunk than I was last year...as that would mean I'd be passed out on stage.

The only option left is... Caustic is gonna burn Usine C down.

  11. is watching a bearded alcoholic raging around a stage to distorted drum kicks and stab lines really as entertaining as people claim?

Somehow, Usine C turning on the lights last year just made the whole thing even MORE amusing. It was like the venue staff was BEGGING the whole thing to stop, but were too terrified to go on stage and ask, for obvious reasons.

It's that kind of thing that you have to experience for yourself.

  15. Rotersand, Terrorfakt, LeƦther Strip, and Synapscape are playing, yet Caustic is the show I'm looking the most forward to...

Uno and I finally got cock blocking t-shirts here the other day.

  16. ill have to def make it next time that crazy pirate guy comes around live then... but not at kinetik! i really want to see synapscape , dive , covenant, hocico, and iszoloscope... cause i've never seen, and probably will never get a chance to see them again... but everyone else who's playing i've either seen or am largely indifferent towards these days. also, lack of money is a huge issue for me

no doubt everyone who goes is gonna have a fuckin great time tho!!

  17. Funny, those bands you mention are some of the ones I've seen the most number of times. There are other bands on the lineup I'm much more excited about getting the chance to see.

You shouldn't care so much about the lineup though, go to Kinetik for a great experience. I'm flying in from Europe.

  18. yeah i guess i am looking at it like a concert. not a festival.

100% agree with Sumez. Most of the bands I've seen several times too... but the experience makes the difference... Also the fact that I only have to drive 15 minutes to the venue...

@Sumez- We'll try not to disappoint:) Or disappoint in ways unseen by human eyes.

Either way, it'll be an experience.
