     important note for people coming to the festival from outside Canada :

     For the U.S. travelers coming by plane to Canada, passport will be required. For the ones arriving by land (car / train), you will need a valid passport to enter Canada. Be aware that no one without passport will be granted access by land to Canada.

     For the Mexican travelers, since August 2009 visitor visa are now required to enter Canada as tourist. They are quite easy to get at your local Canadian embassy, but be sure to do your request in time to get them well ahead of the festival dates.

     Be sure to be well prepared before leaving for Canada, do your passport or visa demands if they are necessary!

     Can someone explain to me why a platinum pass + tickets for day 1 and day 5 is CHEAPER than a camo pass + a ticket for day 1?

     I thought the passes were to save money on attending several days.

     edit: Also, claiming the extra PayPal fee is a violation of PayPal's terms and conditions. I hate to be the one to complain, but doing that sort of shady business shows off a pretty lousy image. And what the hell is venue fee?

     i think the platinum pass is more expensive than a cameo pass + 1st day tix because it includes t-shirt and CD whereas the combo you suggest is ONLY for the entry of each day of the festival. a package deal you could say the platinum pass is...

     as for venue fee, no that is not uncommon. i see that often here in toronto with tickets, may it be called convenience charge or whatever, a concession charged by the venue and ticket issuer i believe....
     paypal yes does charge fee to all merchant accounts, it can be costed into the price of the ticket or charged seperate to the seller, it is irrelevant however the seller wishes to charge this fee to the purchaser. the point is like all online sellers a concession is charged for the online service. paypal i find most lowest in fees compared to other companies. it appears to be a range of 3.02%- 4.04% depending on value of transaction. more info is on paypal.com

     venue fee = LikeDj skin said, most venue here charge fee that we have no power on it and for sure this fee is NOT going to us. We are not hidding any fee, and we put the price as transparant as we can

     we could have put tickets on sale only via tickets master or other shitty tickets place that charge anywhere from 10 to 25% extra on any tickets. When you buy tickets via there sites (we do sale kinetik tickets on there too because of the venue, but we are not linking it since it`s way to expensif) they add fee if you buy with a credit card, fee for delivery of the tickets (event if you are picking them at the venue door), administration fees and etc etc etc

     and yes we have put the paypal fee separatly, we could have just hidded in the online tickets price, and you would not have seen it, but hay.. we clarely put it as it was

     Even if I go back home the moment I regain consciousness I won't be home before the 19th.

     And we're leaving for WGT on the morning of the 20th. :S
