Not been here for a while but, ironically, selling a big bunch of industrial CDs on ebay gave me the nostalgias. It's surprising to see how many of the old guard are still around...

Oh, not much. Six week trip to Beijing and back, overland. Got to camp on the Mongolian steppe and was in a Nepalese car crash. The usual.

    @ Soillodge, I'm a Paypal millionaire!!

  5. You mean Gazillionaire!

So was it a car crash in Nepal? Or is there some new form of Nepalese car crash involving wild yak bandit riders?

Yes, still part of Wraiths (we have a new album out on Auroroa Borealis hopefully very soon) and still Sigillum Dei.

@ Soillodge, not quite...=) Finally sold my copy of Standing/Burning Empires, though, which propped up the finances nicely.

    What's happening in Industrialand, then?

  12. The usual. We have that thread of whether or not industrial is relevant and or dying. We had some nice drama of assholes and egos that was closed and then deleted. We have the usual this band is the greatest or this band is the worst discussion that lead no where. And we have a bunch of threads are just plain retarded.

The only part of this place that I am happy with now is the tech forum which has because very friendly and helpful and full of interesting topics. Plus I moderate it ;) so now there is no OT spam which is the worst kind. It just does not taste good with anything.

Yeah, it's strange to drop off for a good while and come back to find that, aesthetics apart, it's pretty much the same.

Is downloading still killing teh seenz?

Also, do we still have the 'cult, black industrial' threads?

We took it to Heathen Hideout because it got a bit polluted here due to Side-Line stupidity. It's in the dark ambient section, but it's a fair bit quieter there than it used to be here. Dark Meat is long-term AWOL, and Krieglied barely posts any more.

And Heathen Harvest is only keeping the Hideout but will stop other activities.

It hasn't been discussed much, but I find it really sad.

It's a real shame. It's also a shame that Side-Line has become so niche in the meantime though...

Funny thing is that in French, one of the meanings of the word ''niche'' is dog house.
