I'm at work on friday at the body shop and my iPod is playing random songs like Waste, Siva Six, Terrorfakt etc. We sublet all of our glasswork out, so a couple of these younger guys show up to cut out some quarter glass. The guy, his name is Chad says he likes what I'm playing so what is it? I tell him its Alien Vampires and I switch it over to the album Evil Generation which plays several songs and then he said something that I thought was kind of interesting. He said he liked this music because it made him feel like he was in a confusing maze, like it reminded him of something uncoventional and unpredictable and he never knew what was would be next. Coming from someone who was only vaguely familiar with NIN I thought that was kind of funny. A confusing maze... lol...

I remember playing something in the terror-banana vein to a group of metalheads once and they described it as "serial-killer music".

::A confusing maze..::
that was my impression the first time i heard 'Warlock', more specifically 'crawling thru a swampy hellraiser maze'. i readily identified with the feeling.
