  1. Iva Davies' band has released timeless synthpop gems over the years and scored several big hits on both sides of the Atlantic (I Can't Help Myself, Hey Little Girl, Great Southern Land, No Promises, Crazy, Electric Blue to name a few). The masterpiece track "Stay Close Tonight"(off their their album "Sidewalk"), though never released as a single, became one of the band's most popular songs. Enjoy the greatness!

hahaha not something i expected to see on side-line [but awesome none the less]. Iva used to have the mullet to end all mullets... it was spectacular! Also there is this fantastic cor anglais solo on the song man of colours. Check it out.

  4. I remember listening to "Great Southern Land" in a gothic/industrial club when I was down under in Melbourne.

As a result of that and remembering their great music I had to pick their "best of" - album "Masterfile" as I was in the land of Oz listening to that band:

    Great memories. :-)
