     Well sign up to Metropolis forum...it's picking up nicely.

     Does anybody else think this is the most accessible/catchiest Haujobb album to date? Personally for my tastes,i find that a good thing, and for me it's the best album of the year. Obvious 80s influences, with bits of Dep Mode everywhere... interesting that previous comment re. Visage/Ultravox. The tracks Soul Reader and Membrane have that Violator feel about them and are songs that just get inside you.

     If i'm going to be picky, i'd say the remix album could have been better. I like this concept giving a sort of alternate album, but this hasn't worked as well as a couple i've heard (Urceus Exit-Compensation, Mesh-Alternate Solution), with some of the remixes being a bit average. How did you go about this, did you just decide which artist you wanted to do each track by intuition, or did you get a few remixes of each track and then choose the best.

     we just picked the artist we liked to work with and asked them. of course a remix record is always tricky and you cant please everyone. it was an experiment and we are happy with the outcome. next time we will probably do alternative mixes.

     Finally received my copy. DHL sucks (putting it nicely) - took nearly 3 months to get to Australia.

     Incredibly suave production on this one. The industrial grade backpack rocks. Love the Vollmilchscokoladenknusperkulgeln. The only downside was I was hoping for some bouncier tracks, but they all should be good live.

     Haujobb has been my favorite electronic music for what seems like half of my life. It's hard to put it into one post what it means to me... fanboy err,. I could go on about near death experiences etc while listening to Polarity (Can you say bear attack?).
     I'm getting new world march asap! I feel so bad for not having it yet I want to buy ten of them to punish (or reward) myself ;)

     I've already asked but PLEASE play in the US!
