  2. You should go on the road with that sarcastic comedy routine. Give Dane Cook a run for his money.

Hey dmyer, whatever happened to Broken Heart Robot/New World March years ago? And were those the same album, but with different names? I remember it was announced about 4 years ago, with cover art and all, and then that release just fell off the face of the Earth. What went wrong there? Didn't feel the need to release a new album? Time taken by Covenant? Just curious whatever happened to that release, and if material from it will materialize on an eventual Haujobb release?

"I've always thought that Haujobb is too good for this scene. I still think that Haujobb should be signed to Astralwerks or some big UK label and doing remixes for Kraftwerk, oribital, and the Prodigy."

I agree. Haujobb, along with Skinny Puppy, yelworC, and a select few others, have always stood well above the other standard bullshit offered by this scene. And I'll name names: Crap like VNV Nation, Combichrist, Hocico, etc. You know, the bands that are complete shit but are popular in this scene. You know, THOSE bands.

It's cool that Dmyer posts here, but he barely belongs on this forum.

haujobb is not for the typical "industrial" listener.

i hope the new album gives a big "FUCK YOU" to this pathetic scene.

Daniel Myer is without question one of the most musically and creatively minded individuals on this sorry scene. Anyone who has witnessed him play live (yes, kids - some keyboard players actually do that!) and the level of improvisation and sheer instinct that drives his performance will attest to his absolute credibility.

Why do you drama queens have to turn every thread into "this band is better than this band"?

That said, I am also looking forward to anything new that dmyer/Haujobb puts out. One of my all time favorite electronic artists.

Because its easy to. You guys get so bent out of shape so fast its funny.

Haujobb is actually a very good band/project whatever ya want to call it. Speaking of I think I will go turn the volume up on some World Window.

for me, it's just a matter of preference...i'm not going to say this band is better than this band, cuz it's all a matter of taste anyway.

  12. New World March is the working title for the new album. Many factors led to the delay in the production of this album. Broken Heart Robot was an earlier idea for this same album.

His touring with Covenant did effect Daniels productivity, but not in the way you think. During the tour Daniels laptop was stolen, in it, many ideas, tracks in progress, and at least 1 entire completed LP.

There was also a Clear Vision LP that was created and then abandoned. I tend to think these songs were reworked for Architect, because Lower Lip Interface had a CV feel at times. All of this is conjecture though.

Also he has mentioned that Dejan was living in a different city and they were finding it difficult to arrange scheduling to work on Haujobb. Now Dejan and Daniel live in the same city and have been working on this album collectively since late last year.

There is a new teaser video. We are trying to arrange a place to showcase it. Planetmyer is in disarray and I am trying to get in touch with the guy that owns the domain.

Thanks for the info. That sucks about the laptop. How long ago did that happen? And damn, an entire Haujobb LP was lost that way? I've heard of similar things like that before, bands losing entire albums in hard drive crashes, etc. It's a terrible risk of the digital world, but it happens from time to time.

The new Destroid and Architect will keep me happy for a while. They have that midas touch Daniel provides.
