    "its hardly industrial"

You're right - it needs more fake blood, dread-falls and New Rocks.

    anyways, nice Electropop.

  10. This seems like a big step backwards. Though the older Glis material was more interesting than this. Sunrise is still one my favourites. Discontent and NightVision were great too.

Shaun, you must be really bored to sing about the rain falling?

the lyrics are placeholders, I guess. but it would go well in clubs. I hate that tempo for 4 to the floor tracks though... its too fast for my taste. d

  12. Placeholders for a demo I get-but in a debut video? I guess I just expected some more growth after all this time.

The intro is very cool. But then it fades and the track that comes is not near as expressive and sounds really over-compressed.

    Shots for all !

    "its hardly industrial."

Nothing posted on Side-Line is industrial so it fits right in here.

Groovy tracks but I'd get bored of this after a couple listens. Good for what it is though.

its called sidechaining... its a style;) its supposed to sound overcompressed, I guess.

  15. So Glis is active again? Glis has always been rather hit and miss for me since the music style changed quite a bit from album to album. I don't really like this new Glis song very much. The intro is too long, the music is a bit simplistic/repetitive and the vocals are a little more high-pitched in tone than I usually care for.

its a pansy ass song....its got nothing to it, no spite, no bite, no balls lol...

  17. @Daniel- Oh I know about side-chaining, I meant the overall mix. It just not stand out well, it seems some other people have the same thoughts.

I hope Glis comes back with another album, I never like singles anyhow and maybe he has some real cool ideas from his long hiatus.

wow, i'm glad I was able to listen in time, the user has removed it from youtube

I actually think this is Glis' best work to date

So to ask like someone else before, Glis is active now?

    Posted 1 year ago #
  19. Thanks. I removed it. I'm just not inspired enough to move forward with it right now. You can listen to my current music project here:

    Hi Shaun,

Hope you maybe add it again in the future. I didn't get a chance to hear it. But maybe if you post it again. Best of luck with your new project.
