    Yeah, I can't find anything about them talking shit about Mexico... as far as I can tell all there is was just some muckup with their visas and passports.

    Funker Vogt live guitarist Thomas Kroll said something about Mexicans, but later apoligized. He got a lot of heat from Mexican fans. This happened about two months ago, so it's old news.

    The REAL issue here is about their visa/passport U.S. entry problem, as posted on FB. From what it looks like, the NYC show has been cancelled, again.

    its not just the NYC show, its like 5 of their "rescheduled" shows. NYC was supposed to be tomorrow night (11/19), and yes apparently its canceled, and theres more drama following that. not to mention they've lost two key "members" AND their label? wtf funker vogt... 3rd cancellation in the NE USA?

    the "mexico" shit i mentioned i noticed from their facebook group, ie this comment:

    "WTF... Never tougth of you guys being a living sack of shit... Talking shit about Mexico huh? don't even fucking think about coming here cause i'am spreading the word....Tell that to Hocico, even german people admire it. My last name Is Schwarzchild Müller and i'am living on Mexico now, i'am 6´9 btw.. Really what a fucking deception, what is it next, Brazil? Argentina?.. Most of you being a fucking EBM group, now i realize even CyberGoith people, can be stupid double-faced morons out of Culture."

    Although I appreciate there was likely cause for that guy to say that, it would probably be unwise to trust the rant of some random dude on the interwebs. Although I have to agree on the general WTFness of Funker Vogt's current situation. Losing your label, two bandmates, being forced to cancel a bunch of dates multiple times, and buggering your ankle up takes a pretty impressive streak of misfortune!

    Well, IMHO the key members that do the music (Gerrit Thoams) and vocals (Jens Kästel) are still in the band Funker Vogt.

    Same goes for the side-projects Ravenous, Fictional, Fusspils 11.

    They lost their label? This info somehow never reached me. Afaik they are with Out Of Line now.

    @ Electrohead - As far as I was aware, they were signed to Repo Records previous to that, which fell apart when the other two guys, one of whom was the guy behind Repo, left the band. Well, that's as far as I was aware anyway :/

    Ok, lemme try to explain it (I hope I got it right): Repo Records are/were managed by Björn Bötticher and Kai Schmidt (who was also responsible for the lyrics; both were also Funker Vogt live members). On this label the whole back catalogue (all previous albums remastered with bonus and the "Always And Forever" - compilations were released). Repo Management was also Björn Bötticher and Kai Schmidt.

    Including "Blutzoll" Funker Vogt were on SPV (Germany/Europe) and Metropolis (US).

    The next releases will be on Out Of Line. Here you can have a look at the next kind of Out Of Line - label festival ("weekender") in March 2012:

    I found no official confirmation about OOL signing FV....but I remember I read about that. Lemme check in print media.
