    O hai der.

I'm currently putting my studio together and my theme is a kind of 'fuck yeah, toys are awesome and I want to play in my rooooom' theme.

What I'm trying to say is, what gadgets and gizmos for a guy who just wants to have fun with his new setup would you recommend?

Here's what I've got so far:

iMac running logic pro, ableton and protools. What? I'm greedy.
M-Audio Audio interface, don't ask me for a model number because I honestly can't be bothered to look!
A big sexy condenser on a cute little desktop stand (so adorable!)
An Akai LPD8 (this is the kind of thing I'm talking about, fun little things that are all user friendly and intuitive)
Some midi controller keyboard, i dunno
    Monitors and Subwoofwoof
A cowbell forged from the body of a motor! (really!)

    And that's it so far.

So yeah guys, anything I haven't got that'd go well in my soon to be fortress of inexpensive nick-nacks?

Are you planning to actually make music? If so, explaining your musical goals would make it easier for us to provide useful advice and suggestions.

@Cult of the Bleeding Toe LMAO! Don't mislead the OP, that's mean you big meanie. ;-)
@Analog Mind Yes a studio can be fun and it can be alot of repetitive work if you don't have the proper gear for what you are trying to do to begin with. In fact the choice of equipment is rather personal IMO since many aspects of your own temperament must be considered as well as your prejudices. For example, do you like integrated devices such as channel strip type products or rather have all the functions in separate stand alone units? What suits you better? What workflow do you find to be more fun; or at least, the least annoying...
That said I think the sex swing is most probably the best suggestion so far. That plus a stripper pole and you got it all covered!

If you don't have something from 4ms. I just feel sad for you. They are all too brilliant and useful.
