Flesh Field backcatalogue online

(23 posts)

  1. Flesh Field has made their discography encompassing the years 1999-2003 [including rare compilation tracks] available for free download from their website, http://www.flesh-field.com

for those who don't know the band, this is a good opportunity to get started. personally, the Redemption EP is one of my favorite releases. highly recommended.

this comes as kind of a shock to me, as in the past I spent lots of time hunting down & purchasing those compilations which had exclusive FF tracks on them. ah well, thanks Ian! =]

This is recent? because totally randomly, two days ago I went on Flesh Field website to see if there was any update about the next release, and I saw that, and was really happy since I didn't have some of this stuff! So yeah, thanks a lot Ian!

Wow. Excellent indeed. I'd heard a couple tracks in the past, but I'm sold now. Going to have to track down a copy of Strain soon.

I wouldn't say Wendy is a better singer then Rian, Rian was classically trained for like 6 years and flesh field was a different band then.

Rian could not do aggression very well, she was better as the ethereal/goth singer. She was good at harmonizing.

Wendy brought a harder more aggressive edge and emotion which Flesh Field lacked with Rian but they both were/are great singers, but you are comparing apples and oranges.

  18. yeah rian kinda tried too hard and didnt mesh as well as Wendy does with FF's sound.
