Electronic Body Matrix

    Hi,

    I received yesterday. I only listened once but I really think this is not an Electronic Body Music compilation. I still hear the same trance sounds and progressions than years ago, it sounds dated and boring. I think it is very good value compilation for DJ's and the artwork is great. Also you get tons of music and there are some gemms, but overall I feel this is not the future of EBM.

    "EBM" is becoming the new "Industrial" as far as a generic way of descibing music. I am somewhat interested in this comp. If the release is 4 discs I guess you want a little diversity in the styles. I see what Silikon is saying. The title Electronic Body Matrix can be a little misleading perhaps?

    Exactly Siglo. That is the point. It is another "hard" electronic music compilation for the dancefloor. I don't see the focus on EBM. I really hate the trance sounds/melodies that some bands use. Is EBM/Industrial a distorted voice over a four on the four beat and some (old) trance patterns?
