  1. @ Heretic909 - Funny story - When me and a couple mates were living in Dundee, my friend Alex was raking around in a skip for interesting art materials when he came across a battered old keyboard. He was just getting into making industrial-type music at the time so decided to take it home and plug it in. Miraculously, it worked, but came preloaded with some of the cheesiest sounds known to man, and promptly declared it a POS, but one that he loved all the same purely for being so bad. Being naive, I didn't question his judgement on the issue.
Guess what synth it was? A Yamaha DX7. He had found a DX7 in a fucking skip. As far as I am aware he still doesn't have a clue how to program it.

Ok, I googled "what's a skip in scotland" but found nothing. So what's a skip?

I bought photocopies of the original manuals off of ebay, plus the guy included a photocopy of this magazine article that explains how to program it, so I'm hoping I'll have better luck.
