i've been having fun with RD3 & Electrum on my Droid Incredible.
BPM's drift a bit when recorded but it's great for improv.

just downloaded a few synths yesterday & played with em a bit last night.

Axxe - an Arp emulator. sounds pretty good but a dinky interface & a 69ms latency.
Zarey - continuum emulator. with 4 sounds. synth lead, electric & distorted pianos, & a horn. kinda silly.
Android Synthesizer - 10 editable synthy sounds, with some editable paramaters, envelope, filter, rez, echo modulation, scale options. probably the most useful "synth".

  4. i have a droid x. everything seems to have stupid latency making it worthless. iphone/pad has all the interesting apps. i like the droidx for a phone/gps thing. i'll probably get an ipad for a studio controller though

yeah, once again audio seems to be an afterthought.
as much as i'm not a huge apple fan, they seem to be the only company not regulating audio drivers to some back burner process.

that said the Android o/s is a few years behind Apples mobile o/s. maybe they'll catch up one of these days.
