    For those of you on discogs, there is a new feature that takes historical data on the sales of releases in the database. You can view each item in your collection and see a low, medium and high based on past sales of that release. It will also tell you what the entire collection is worth. Pretty cool I guess. You can access it on the MY Discogs page and click on "collection" and there are 4 icons near the word view on the right upper side of the page. Click the icon all the way to the right.

    Hmm, cool stuff, shame I have a bunch of records where no stats are available (sometimes quite well-known ones too).

    Wow, that is an interesting tool/feature. Thanks for sharing. I assume any item in your collection with no sales history counts as $0.00 to your collection value. So, I would also assume that your collection may be (grossly) undervalued if you have a lot of items with no sales history. And, for the most part, they are the items that are super rare, hence probably "valuable", that are not factored into the computation. Still, very very interesting.

    Steven........ a lot of the "super rare" stuff will not have stats if they were never sold on discogs officially. Many of your gems will not have stats.

    Shapeshifter........ A lot of new stuff doesn't have stats, but you are right some stuff that has been around a while is not showing any history.

    Perfect=no, but interesting.

    Notice, downloads have no worth.... I miss TT.

    Cool function, but a great deal of my collection seems to not be previously traded. That and album prices, especially used prices are crashing hard.

    Very useful for insurance purposes!
    We have a similar feature for a game collection site I'm working with, and I was only working for Discogs to implement that.
