  3. Yeah me too :( Was at a club in Carlisle of all places a couple years back that one of the guys from Cubanate was supposed to be DJing at, but he never turned up :(

So drunk he could barely stand let alone remember the words to his own songs. This is my enduring memory of seeing Cubanate.

Anti-matter is my fav album from Cubanate + Oxyacetylene. I would have enjoyed to see them live.

  7. Yes i was the other one ,Be My Enemy is my new band...

Not sure who was booked to Dj in Carlisle?Wasn't me.Sounds weird cant imagine Marc would do it either.

After about 96 we didnt do many good gigs, working with Alcoholics is tedious, boring and frustrating.Sorry you witnessed us then Bubba. What city was that gig in?

I hate to be the one asking the question, we all know is coming, and which you probably heard a billion times before, but is there any chance of Cubanate ever playing live again? It's definitely one of my favourite bands ever, kudos on creating some really classic albums, I'm particularly fond of Barbarossa and Interface.

  10. I very much doubt it.Marc owns the name so its his call and i dont think he has any desire to do anything with it.A little while ago he was talking about doing a 'best of' comp as the masters returned to ownership of us for the first 3 albums, but nothing happened.I think that ship has sailed.

Cubanate was the perfect mix of guitars and synths. A rare occurence but oh so sweet when it does. Marc Heal is one of the coolest mofos on the planet. C-Tec wasn't too shabby either.

    Lol yes, obviously.
I've listened to that album millions of times and I know what it's called, my fingers must have slipped. :)

Great to see what Cubanate was live, terribly dronk or not.

Yeah.. Sometime earlier last year Marc replied to a message
I sent regarding contributing vocals on a track of mine, needless
to say he didn't care much for it.

Oddly enough, his response was something like "I usually don't reply
to people on here, but you're from Texas.". I guess he likes Texas?

I enjoyed Cubanate's performance (Batcave) as well as C-Tec's (Tramps) in NYC some 13+ years ago. Cubanate was loud angry and powerful!!

  18. I love Cubanate and C-Tec!... will both be dearly missed. :)

I mailed Marc a few times he didn't seem too interested, but he was thinking about "The Greatest hits" album.

  20. I don't really care about a Greatest Hits. I think people should just get all the old albums :)
