I've preferred the forums since the embedded images have been removed.
Some people just abuse the feature. I don't mind clicking on a link to see an image if I so choose to see it.

all the trolls are gone, and not only do we know everyone who remains, but they are all to tired and bitter to post anything grotesque or offensive.
if someone does abuse it for somereason, surely a swift banning will solve the problem?

Also a max-width CSS property on images will easily deal with design breaking images. Of course an exception must be made for the hat.

i somewhat figured it out...
however only the owner of this forum can install the embed code.
Bernard first needs to download a "Image Code File" given thru BBPRESS, an outside website will host the Images (like the avatars we have). After downloading the file
only the owner of the forum can install it. The owner can also control size of the images posted, and who can post Images (mods, admins, certain members etc)
I don't have that power! Sorry guys!

Embedding pictures is just like the Edit button, such a simple and common feature overlooked. Maybe we'll see once we move to another BBS.
