  1. Ha! i got busted with a nug i forget existed. film canisters >,<

thanks for the comments on haloscrape. the kick drum, closed hat were programmed by Michael(soillodge) and the first bassline is a midi sequence he wrote that i programmed a sound for and slowed the bpm down from 260 to 220 bpm.

bass line and snare are Future Retro XS. i still need to add some reverb to the snare and maybe some delay to the hats. love Michael's kick just the way it is so i'm not going to process it anymore.

the pad stuff is microwave XT. the sound reminds me of those arcs of electricity that produce notes. that patch is heard dry first and then wet with a frequency shifter and a modulated bandpass delay program on the eclipse. the eclipse also provides chorus to the Future Retro's bass sounds.

  2. sounds like an angry robot waking, mauricio.

i'd like to hear some of your found sounds in there.. add some percussion like elements.

what do you use to manipulate your found sounds? soundforge has been my favorite for going in and making my own samples nice, neat and perfect

    Thank you, Tsarik.

I'm kind of obsessed about establishing some trademarks. Some things that can my noises be remembered and tentatively make things different from stuff from other people. So I'm really thinking this experiment using synths from the KP plus the Gristleizer could be some kind of paralell project. I'm thinking about make it far more electronic oriented. Although I also use both of them on my main project, called Arsenic Milkshake, I use them differently than I used on this stuff. Arsenic Milkshake is based on organic sound sources, which include the found objects, electric guitar, electric upright bass and my voice. I spend most of the time working on it, so it explains my absence from time to time. If I include rhythms in this stuff, I'm gonna do it using the Electribe ES-1 dodd gave me.

The found objects are processed with effects from the KP. Now I'm concerned about getting some gear that could make the AM recordings better. So I've just purchased a pre-amp pedal with some amp simulators, and a noise gate pedal and an audio interface may be the next stuff I'm going to buy. After that, I'm gonna get another KP, hopefully a KP3 because I want to have different effects from it working at the same time, and also a Korg Monotrom, which is not available for brazilians this time.

I don't use software effects other than those for mastering.

you hear the fuck up @ 4:52? i liked it so much i left it. i like happy accidents like that.

what about the length? if you want and have the time everything i do is available to you for remixing and decimation.

  9. You mean the thing that sounds like white noise in the left stereo field? I really dig that :D

I am off on Sunday, I have time them to rearrange/remix if you want to give me the separate files.

I have been working on some percussion for Mauricio's noise track as well. Fucking with Reaktor only and some different production experiments of layering sounds and using side-chaining to emphasize bass and pad modulation. It sounds pretty sick but i am having trouble making it all fit together well :P

  13. Thank you! It was the fast oscillations that gave me the idea to use a drum & bass rhythm. I am glad you enjoyed it :)

  14. God I was up for 12 hours engineering this.

Track written due to my insomnia. I think it turned out pretty well. Kind of a nifty combo of nineties trance and modern progressive house.

    @ KM

Pretty damn good. It felt really electroclash. Kinda Anthony Rother-ish. Don't know if it was your intention but I like it.

Why don't you join us on the Subspine forum and make some noise with us?

  16. Aight, once I settle down today i'll get around to that.

  17. Thanks for the feedback, by the way. lol. That track shows what a product of the nineties I am.

  18. honestly that track was lacking some serious OO0onnNTTtzzz

actually... i drank to much. i rarely get house music... i have gotten it though... REALLY.... i still can sing most of Wu Tang's 36 chambers to this day... if i can do that while being even remotely interested in electronic music..i can appreciate house... i just hate house... for no reason other than every one likes it... like the access virus... its a fucking awesome synth... and i put a fucking jihad on it... why? because everyone loves it.. fuck what they like

  19. Honestly, I don't write bass heavy industrial esque music.

So that's why there's no oontz. lol.
