So what do you think?
I'm inclined to share the joy below:

I would have liked the idea getting him arrested instead of having him dead.
There will be a successor in no time, do not worry.
This might be a temporary happiness but the state of alert in US will not change.
It is still only fighting the symptoms and not the main cause. But that`s a different story.
I am pleased.
"It is still only fighting the symptoms and not the main cause. But that`s a different story. "
THIS
A more even distribution of wealth in the world would help stop terrorism.
I don't know why they insist on fighting fire with fire.
As much as 9/11 terrible is/was, it is the outcome of own bred failure in US foreign policy for decades now. A change would really be helpful (Yes, we can?).
Finger-pointing is always easier than facing the real cause for such extreme (re-)actions.
i got caught up in the fervor after 9/11
i enlisted in the Army
my views have since completely changed
this is no reason to celebrate
we killed a billionaire who was living in fucking caves. if a billionaire has this kind of conviction, others surely do as well.. and the important quest is why?
9/11 pales in comparison to the atrocities many nations have committed
we are one people, one world.. borders are nothing more than lines drawn on a map
we've stopped evolving and declared all out war against the earth thousands of years ago
these are the after shocks caused by the quake of man
these are the growing pains of humanity
we need to grow up and stop the dumb shit
we need to live as if the earth and humans will continue on indefinitely... this is main gripe with the religions of Abraham... nothing we do on earth matters to them because they're all going to go live with an invisible dude in the sky
I think it is indeed a victory for the US, one which they worked hard to obtain... but I fail to see why someone feels the need to celebrate. It is as disgracious as those pictures of Muslims celebrating on 9/11.
That being said, I am always saddened when I see ''occidentals'' being so critical of their own success. I truly believe that possession is freedom, and we are free because we control the largest share of the ressources. Simple and efficient. And I redistributing the wealth is like giving away freedom.
What do I think?
I think Osama Bin Laden was nothing more than a CIA patsy created by the US Government as a propaganda tool in order to sway public opinion and justify the waging of a series of wars which were ultimately designed to allow the mega corporations to control strategic areas that contain vast mineral and petroleum resources. 911 was also a premeditated criminal conspiracy created to strip all Americans of all our rights that were afforded to us by our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The supposed death of our Boogeyman will do well to placate the unwashed masses, i.e. the general population of the USA. So now I'm to understand we've won.... yay! Wave some fucking flags! Well, what about the all the innocent people that got fed into the meat grinder by these criminals that control the world? In the end after the dust has finally settled and all the bullshit has been swept aside the bottom line is that the world is still controlled by a relatively small group of greedy people and the general population of any country is completely expendable on every level depending soley on the needs of a few.
Everyday on this planet, humans try to convince themselves that there is good versus evil. We are such a fucking stupid race of talking monkeys.

@ Tsarik
we killed a billionaire who was living in fucking caves.
Actually he was living in a Mansion in Pakistan this whole time.
@ Topic
Oh I can hardly wait for the CIA to announce next big enemy of teh freedomz and democracy.
First it was the commies, then Saddam, then Bin Laden, what now?
Also, how long until Hollywood turns this into a movie where Obama is portrayed as the leader of a Tactical Squad (starring Mark Wahlberg, 50 Cent, The Rock and Chuck Norris) and fucking shoots Bin Laden in the face after his squad pussies out, blows up his mansion and walk away from the fire saying "Mission fucking Accomplished" ?
Im somehow happier with his Death. I know its the hip thing to say F the US! But i somehow dig the fact that the U.S. is in full Steroid Bully Mood right now.
Like Libya you want some??? Bomb them and kill off Sons and grandkids. Oh hes hiding in Pakistan? We dont need pakistans permission, lets go in and kill the bastard...no Court needed!
U.S. = Rambo
:D
does this mean i can start bringin a water bottle with me on the plane again?
FUCK YEAH!!
The new kind of fear still exists...and I wish they didn't exterminate the body so quickly. Why the hurry? And don't get me started on all that gold in the basement of the twin towers still missing.
"and I wish they didn't exterminate the body so quickly. "
conspiracy theorists are having a field day with that bit of information.
well at least we can all feel safer...knowing hes out in the sea...right next to megatron.
Godzilla rose from the ocean! GOJIRA!!!
Tsarik: Very well said. I was watching the footage from Ground Zero and they interviewed a family member of one of the 9/11 victims and they were definitely NOT celebrating.
Bin Laden's death won't bring back the victims, or any of the servicemen who died in Afghanistan or the horrifically unjustified Iraq Invasion. And Terrorism has not been vanquished so what exactly is being celebrated?
First it was the commies, then Saddam, then Bin Laden, what now?
Space Muslims >_>
I vote for Eric once again.
