    TACOS!

Isn't the Key Master based in Belgium?

  7. Yes, he is.

Let us see if Belgium as one state will still exist in a couple of years. The senseless conflict between Walloons and Flemish is no good IMHO.

Visited Belgium this spring and I got to say it's an amazing country! The beer is totally out of this world, and the people in general are super kind. The Walloons/Flemish debate however won't go away any soon. Culturally speaking, they are miles apart, and they sure are good to pinpoint at the faults of the other side! This video is a good example!

  10. Hope it splits up pretty soon. No need for stupid short sighted French speaking politicians à la Di Pipo.

  11. Without being in the inner details of all the Belgian ethnic conflicts I can imagine that the opposite site could also say similira things.

If it would split up the only ones having a benefit would be France, Netherlands and Germany.

  12. Flanders is the only part of Belgium that has a political class willing to move onwards (except for the socialists who still want to throw away money which is not theirs in the first place). The French speaking politicians are mostly afraid of their own shadow. It explains why I pay 10.000 Euro in additional taxes on top of the 30.000 Euro I already pay each year which is then transferred to the French speaking part. What do I get in return? Nothing. I even get refused subsidies for my son's education because I'm 'too rich'. This has to stop. I'm not a public welfare which is only good to cough up money all year long.

To give you an idea, if you are self-employed you're lucky getting 400 Euro a month to live on when you reach 65 (I can know, my mum gets this). But you'll have paid millions in transfers to the Walloons. Ridiculous.

  13. I get your point.

It is time that the Belgian citizen really have to think whether there will be no longer Belgium.

    Wikipedia - quote:

[...] An early election was held on 13 June, 2010, resulting in a plurality for the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) in the Flemish-speaking areas and the Socialist Party (PS) in the French-speaking Belgium. Nationally the two parties were almost even with 27 seats for the N-VA and 26 for the PS, the remaining seats being split between ten other parties. No agreement could be reached among the parties on a coalition to form a new government. As of May 2011, the country continued to be governed by an interim government.

To date, the various political parties have not succeeded in forming a new government, which broke the 2007 record of the longest period without a government.[13] To date, several people have made failed attempts to create an agreement: Bart De Wever (President of N-VA) as informateur, Elio Di Rupo (President of PS) as pre-formateur, President of the Belgian Senate Danny Pieters (N-VA) and President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives André Flahaut (PS) as mediators, De Wever (a second time) as "clarificator", and Johan Vande Lanotte (former President of the SP.A) as mediator. Didier Reynders was appointed informateur on 2 February 2011, reported to the King on 16 February, and had his mission extended to 1 March. Subsequently, on 2 March, Wouter Beke was appointed negotiator. [...]

And the next questions should be if

    a) Netherlands wants Flanders
    b) France wants Wallonia
    c) Germany wants the German-speaking community in of Belgium in Esat Belgium

    and

    d) if today`s ethnic Belgian groups would really have a benefit of a)-c).

I see no solution for small autonomous regions: Neither politically nor economically.

  15. personally I'm so sick of the dispute.. I have no idea where our politicians are and what they are talking about.. Every day seems to be a "historical" day for our news reporters and magazines, but every day we less and less care..

as for music, beer, chocolate etc.. I'm all up for that ;)
