Wow did this thing finally get out of development?
I saw a demo video years ago from NAMM I guess, I didn't really see any use for it outside of hip-hop.

Specs are not impressive. Perhaps if they used fewer LEDs they could have had a budget for more outputs. I like the battery powered feature though. Good idea there.

oh, wow, 1k5$...all the things i could buy with that money....the things that don't visually belong to Toys'r'us...
i searched the text to find the amount of RAM inside...all i found we're three instances of g"RAM"my winningness....
so....how does this thing...thAng compare to the MPC, octatrack, electribe S, ASR-X, SU700??????Posted 10 months ago # -

@dogmeat They straight-up perpetratin!
In reply to my own posting earlier I actually can't imagine the battery life being very good with so much "blang" lit up all the time. LEDs eat current wholesale on battery powered devices and are usually kept to a bare minimum on such devices for that reason. I'm willing to bet the 2-3 hour battery life they quote isn't a realistic real-life spec. Maybe that is how long the batteries last when it is turned off or something...
As for the blatant marketing imagery I really wouldn't try taking that thing to dark parking garages or alleyways in any urban area. Walking around with $1500 toy all lit up like that is a neon sign that says "Please pop a cap in me and take my shit!"

Wow, that is really an unimpressive spec sheet. Unless this shit turns into a TRON light cycle I do not see the draw. Even the FX are build on LADSPA. So it is not like you can put AU or VST's into the thing, both more common plug effects than LADSPA.
The thing does not even have individual outs. Just 1 balanced 1/4 jack for an audio mix and 2 headphone outs. Odd decision. 256 RAM and it uses SD for storage.
All the specs adding up to this thing being worth more like 500-800USD. If they are selling this they are making a killing on retail.
