At last... the new album, Unwesen, is out on Metropolis on 26th Oct.

Three albums in as many years, and now a three year wait for the new one. I still prefer the first Gotteskrieger; maybe the second was a bit rushed but Leben Geben was a bit better. Hopefully, the long wait will be justified, but continues what seems to be an excellent year for new releases.

    Shots for all !

always enjoyed his albums. it's nice to hear something where someone has actually tried to make unique instead of what everyone else is doing.

In less electro but still very medieval style I'm a huge fan of Saltatio Mortis.

Again music that is all in good fun and does not need to be taken super seriously to be enjoyed.

  9. Apexxx, it's not very exciting live, so don't get your expectations too high. Of course, he might have gotten better over the years, the show I saw was the first one he played.

well it would be safe to assume anyone's first ever live performance would suck. ill bet they would be closer to their idea of live perfection by now. but at least you can claim you saw their first ever performance, which is pretty cool in my book.

  11. I hope that there's less instrumentals this time. I don't mind a couple on an album if they're really good, but the instrumentals on Heimataerde albums usually drag.

  12. Really? I'm not much of a fan of his vocals. I think Heimataerde is really hit and miss, with some great hits, but tons of misses.

  13. Well I saw them live also and found it more exciting than on CD or MP3 :) I like knights and stuff :) I am also not a huge fan of his vox, and also only like some single songs. But there are worse bands than this one.
