Awhile back someone here posted a link to my gear website, www.alternative-electronics.com, about a week or two after it went online. Anyone who took a look at it back then may have noticed a lot of planned features were missing or incomplete. Anyway I've spent a reasonable amount of time trying to fix that and finally got around to putting the user submission system online this week.
This means that besides browsing through gear lists for nearly 400 electro/industrial/breakcore/noise/synth/etc bands (some gear lists are more complete than others...) you can now submit new bands and gear to the site, add gear to bands' gear lists and assign genre tags to bands. All submissions require approval by other users via a voting system and you have to cite a source to add gear to a band's equipment list.

(If you log in and click on "Contribute" -> "Requested Bands" you'll find a list of nearly 200 bands that I have so far been unable to find any gear info for, maybe one of you knows something?)
Any errors or bugs in the submission system can be reported here as well.
