Ambassador21 and related (ie. Suicide Inside) and their imagery has a tendency of coming off as really immature, what with the fuck finger on every picture, the track names, etc. and honestly I can't condone it, it IS stupid.
But the music is awesome, really, at least look past the cliché sui/homicide naming, and give it a listen.

"pure adrenaline", yeah. Everytime I see Alexey and Natasha, I'm wondering how they can manage this, really. "Bigger than life" people ! And their music keeps getting stronger and stronger.

  8. Ambassador21 is mad. But seriously, I agree with Cyberium. Dark Electro is like Black Metal without any real danger. Sure, a lot of the early BM bands sounded the same but those motherfuckers actually KILLED people and burned churches...while all we have in Terrorbanana are angsty twats in latex bondage gear making pseudo intellectual serial killer references. I mean, come ON "SUICIDE INSIDE"?!. Fuck, if you guys want danger than travel back in time to New York when Micael Gira first formed Swans. When I imagine dark music, I imagine a big, muscled naked man with long hair screaming at me while people clang on metal drums and wall of sound guitars that rattle my bones, not some pissants doing gothic trance karaoke to a backing track.

    TACOS!

I thought Ambassador21 was a Digital Hardcore band, not terrorbanana.

  10. @Dodd. That's just as bad. Digital Hardcore's got a decent sound, but the overly Left Wing lyrics are hilarious. I'm a liberal myself but all this "Fuck the system" and "Delete The Elite" is the complete opposite of intelligence. It's like taking Zeitgeist, Michael Moore, or Alex Jones seriously...

  12. @ Cretin : have you ever seen A21 or Suicide Inside live ? You may not feel Swan-like danger, but absolute intensity : you will. Believe me.

  13. I have never heard either of these bands before today.

Sumez sez-"has a tendency of coming off as really immature, what with the fuck finger on every picture, the track names, etc. and honestly I can't condone it, it IS stupid."

Ambass sez-"Well, just go fuck yourself. Was it immature enough?"

But they seem to forget that Sumez also sez-"But the music is awesome, really, at least look past the cliché sui/homicide naming, and give it a listen."

Pretty amusing they are insulting their own fan. It is a fact that the content, the imagery and the lyrics are all very immature from what I see:

    "Throw, drink, think, beat
Fury's here - the day is over
Blood, tin plate - the black mix
    Awe, sediment - sixty six

    Caffeine!
    Caffeine!

    Awe's here
    Notes are six
    Time there is
    My revenge
    Caffeine!

    Fury, revenge
    6 o'clock
    Blood to pour
    Time to beat
    Time to drink
    6 o'clock
    Time there is
    Caffeine!
    Caffeine!
Throw, drink the scum of days"

Damn, they really have nothing to say.

Still, I tool Sumez advice, found their website and listen to some tracks.

If there was a contest to see what music could induce hearing fatigue the fastest. This shit would win. No thanks Sumez..

The Zeitgeist proposed solutions are truly the answer... will it ever happen? Hmm.. probably not.

Alex Jones does good work... and I agree with about 75% of the things he says. He loses me when he rambles about god and has pastors as guests.

But remember kids... "Without money, we'd all be rich."

  15. @vx cheerleader: I don't go to shows, unfortunately. I'd like to but I'm always working...I missed both Swans and Wolves In The Throne room recently because of it. And I don't doubt that the shows are high energy. I wasn't refuting that, but merely responding to A21's offense at the truth. The music itself might be aggressive but there's lot's of aggressive genres of music out there. I could pick any other digital hardcore, dark electro, etc. act and get the same thing...They all play "dark, rebellious, and dangerous" or "Fuck the system, we're anarchists! We're enlightened!" but in reality they're the complete opposite and uninformed on what's actually wrong with the world. It's all reactionary pseudo-intelligent victim shit or "Look at me I'm a self diagnosed psychopath" shit.

@Bubba: I don't know if you meant something good or bad with that video, but obviously Swans are a completely different band than they were. I like their new material just as much as I like their old stuff. Plus, Michael Gira's not likely the same guy he was when Swans was heavy.

Oh just putting out the signal. Agreed, they're a different band but their new album is still brutal as hell (no jarboe cluttering it up either). Hope to see them again soon.

  17. @ Cyberium: I disagree, but I won't get into a huge argument about it. I'll just summarize what I think: Our current situation in this country isn't the work of an evil occult entity. It's the work of greed, shortsightedness, and incompetence. The housing bubble, the coming college bubble, and over inflated healtcare costs are the work of idealism and bad problem solving...not Satanic Population control conspiracies or NWO bullshit.

Yeah, I'm not in the mood for some argument either. But you are 100% correct in your analysis of the current problems. That's why I like the Zeitgeist resourced based economy solution. Take money out of the equation all together. No profit and no self-imposed scarcity.

But to Alex's credit, he has been toting that the real problem is the Federal Reserve for 16+ years... which is a private bank who loans money to our government with interest attached. That is why we are in the shit we are in. If we paid back all the money to the Fed that was borrowed, we'd still owe the interest that has accrued. So we can never, ever get out of debt... and that was done by design.

And the other things he talks about, such as false-flag terrorism and cancer virus vaccines are usually 100% accurate.

Alex Jones is actually a Super Saiyan.

  20. Well... I happen to know Alexey and Natasha, I have worked with them too, and they are not of the whining-and-complaining-teenage-angst-rebellion kind of people, believe me. You may think they have nothing to say... They ARE the message. Just check where they are coming from (and still live most of the time) : Belarus. Know about this country ? The last european regular sovietic dictatorship. Consider this. I've seen Alexey and Natasha travel through Europe from one badly-paid gig to another, sleeping where they can, taking the cheapest trains with all their gear in their travelling bags, never complaining about anything. They spent some time at my home, and they are of the tough kind. Walking at last two hours a day, whatever the weather ; working on their music like psychos, meeting as many people as possible, talking and asking questions about everything... They are a two-people commando.
    (end of the rant)
