I wanted to start a music thread that is a tribute to all the great music out of Sweden. I have always been a fan of the music, even as a youngen in the early/mid 80's listening to Asta Kask, Mob 47, Anti Cimex and the Raped Teenagers. A few friends and I started a small record label that released a hand full of vinyl and cassette releases and one that I was most fond of was a split 7" between a NY band and one from Sweden. Wow, its been 23 years since that release.
Next week I will see Pouppee Fabrikk and Container 90. I look forward to these artists as much as the others.
There are many cool bands releasing or have released music out of Sweden that I enjoy on a regular basis: Scapa Flow, T.W.A.T, Presto Fervant, Tobias Bernstrup, Astma, Malaise, Necro Facility, Covenant, Monostrip, Severe Illusion etc.
Use this thread to pay tribute to all that is Sweden!!!!!!
