yeah, it is! I love that whole album, but that track is my favorite as well.

I saw HNIA perform it live about 2 years. It was so lovely.

Anyhoo, here's something you don't see everyday: a U.S. Congressman pays Chilton some respect on the House floor:

@ herectic909

Yes. The Blue one (EA-1) is an analog synth (also the poor man's TB303).

The red one (ER-1) is a drum synth. The green one (ES-1) is sampler and the black one (EM-1) is a groovebox.

I got rid of the EM-1 and ES-1 and bought the upgrades EMX-1 and ESX-1

Sol: Yes, I agree that midi is slow, and there should be something better, but no one is doing it, so we have to work with what there is for old hardware, and old hardware sounds the best. So. This is my whole point, mine is constructive, and yours is day dreaming for the manufacturers to wake up and come up with a new standard and hold the people who make sequencers accountable, but instead, we get usb audio, usb midi, usb on our hardware now and that is not better than midi at all when it comes to timing.

I use an mp3 player, play some keyboard parts and growl into the mic. Nothing fancy. Even if promoters were willing to pay for the extra checked luggage, I still wouldn't bring a bunch of gear with me. Too much of it has broken from traveling over the years.

Although, I have edited all the songs we play live so it's not exactly like the cd, and then I tweak the songs or add to them every so often. Plus with Rexx's comedy routine in between songs, you have a whole different experience when hearing us play live.

I have been doing this for 10 years trying to find the best midi set up.

Rogue, i don't care if you like my brash bed side manner.

I have poor diplomatic communications skills, because i would rather punch someone in the face than explain it.

I think this is where my rage comes from, when people don't understand you, or think you are a lunatic, all I want to do is spit on people when they look down on me like this.

I never ever said to stop using daws or plug ins. I just don't like them. If you want good timing for external gear, old seqs work.

More than anything, i am getting back to the past, because everything seemed to sound so much better then. I found gold on midi timing, and people fucking choke on it because it might make them have to spend money, or worse, put up with bad timing on external gear and midi recording errors.

After having good midi, then having it taken away from you since 1997, this will drive anyone mad. Well, anyone who can tell. Most people cannot, and then sit there and scratch their head on why their shit doesn't sound as good as the old stuff. Well it's a lot of things, and midi timing on hardware is a big part of it.

Liten to how tight Caustic Grip from FLA is, That is artari ST Notator with Unitors.

Listen to Old KMFDM, I think they used old ataris as well.

Listen to Ministry. Old seqs. Tight. Killer sound. This is when music sounded the best.

Modern computers are more than capable of being tight with midi,The big bloated os's and the do it all app that tries to do to much isn't tight ever.

Here is what i think:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7ZnUwIPCqg

Mymphoid Barbarian is an excellent remedy to insomnia...

I was also a fan of Italian heroic fantasy movies... some of them were even worse than Troma stuff, but the difference is that they intended to be good.

The series of Ator movies is some of the worst in this genre... but they are so entertaining.

I'm proud to present the trailer of ANALOG (feat. the track "Passagen"). The director is Ebbëto, a graphic artist and film maker from Sao Paulo.

got everything they have put out so far...it's nice to see a band not doing the OMGTERRORBANANA4/4 club thing.

They also give away a free EP full of instrumental versions of some of their songs @ http://www.emptyband.com/

There seems to be a wide interpretation of "hard electro industrial". I'm a sucker for This Morn' Omina. Another worth mentioning is Katastroslavia, all I know of them is a remix on the iVardensphere disc, it's quite equal to TMO (this is meant as a compliment).

As for heavy dancefloor material I love most of the Pro-Noize roster (esp. FabrikC, Xotox, SAM, Control-System) plus several unknowns like Aggressionslevel 4.0, Yade, Stainless.4571, Valium Era, EID, Letzte Ausfahrt Leben.... etc

Sword and Sandals movies are rad. Nymphoid Barbarian is so hard to sit through just because it gets so boring.

My favorite is this, although I guess it's more of a cave man movie.

Anyone pick this up yet? The samples sound really good and I bought their ep on DSBP a few years ago.

I pre-ordered it and as a bonus I got 5 unreleased songs, 2 remix kits, a bunch of wallpaper and a digital booklet. THATS how you reward your fans for buying your releases.

in an attempt to tie this somewhat with the scene (like the previous This Mortal Coil video...nice job, vx!), I'll post another 4AD band. His Name Is Alive's cover of "Blue Moon."

i love challenges when it comes to spinning, i just need to learn how to record my mixes on traktor.
i threw a party last night and was mixing dubstep w/ breakbeats and then terrorbanana to ebm, it was a challenge cause i didn't have an open port for headphones, but i went w/ the track diagnostic waves and half of it went pretty well. practice makes perfect :-D
i just wish i could get more gigs, even if i don't get paid, that's not an issue.
as soon as i learn to record mixes, i'll upload some if anyones interested

@Tumor: "i get realy irritated by djs who let one outro run into the next intro with no beat, most of the time i just wait for some awesome boom but nothing will happen standig still for 30 seconds and listen synth pads."

That is one of my most hated trends.... IMO it only works if you're totally switching genres and even then I think 16 bars is the max this should run for. If there's no major genre switch the break shouldn't last for more than 8 bars
