The debut-cd of this Brazilian band will for sure please the lovers of endzeit electronics. The opening cut “Dust To Dust” sounds like a mix of elements from Hocico and Suicide Commando. So there’s no doubt about the style and the influence. This is pure dark electronic music, but I’ve been finally pleased that “No Tears To War” doesn’t become an easy emulating record. The album has much more to offer and after the 2nd assault entitled “No Tears To War”, which is another cool piece, HD even dares to walk on progressive paths. “Premonition” and “Homicide” are quite good songs in this style. A particular song is “Lies” for the vocals, which are quite close to In Strict Confidence. In the progressive vein of their work, “Freedom” sounds as the most accomplished and successful cut while the die-hard freaks of dark electronics will be more pleased by the excellent “Dressed In Black”-cut.
