Level 2.0 - Battle Sight Zero (CD – Nilaihah Records)Posted on 09/12/11
It has been some time since we last heard from this act. When last we heard from them they had the formula but just needed a slight tweak. The production of the tracks is still solid and filled with some great trance elements. The standout thing about this band is the great synths they supply to the listener which go well with the driving bass lines underneath to make you move your feet.
The only issue that was with the act was the vocals weren't quite there yet but now it sounds like he has found his voice and is completely ready to take on the world as (dare it be said) another great future pop band. Like it or now with all the elements now involved from the intricate synth lines the driving bass lines and drum patterns and now vocal style coupled with the lyrical content that's what this act is, straight up future pop sounds and there is no denying it is good!
Throughout this whole thirteen track release there is no definitive track that really stands out, they can all hold their own individually and as a whole because this release is just that solid.
From beginning to end this album has it together so there is no reason to purchase individual tracks just get the whole CD package from the label and you will thank yourself later .
