Implant – Implantology (dcd Alfa Matrix)

Another long awaited release as well as it being a double cd! Implant is a great act who never lets down the listener and consistently pushes the limits of what the bands exact sound should be. The second cd is full of eclectic acts from across the EBM/industrial board. This release starts off really kicking one in the nuts! As it flows on it rolls along like you would expect the remix cd to go jumping back and forth from many sub-genres, bordering on noise at times then kicking over to electro clash. Within all this there are also some guest vocals on a few of the tracks from a familiar voice to any fan of EBM. There is one track about the middle of the listening experience, that seems to embody the direction this act is going to go towards in future releases, which turns out to be an interesting mix of sounds. The tempo is all across the board as well as if it were an exhibition of this acts talents. Each remix (coming from bands like Xotox, Horrorist, Cruise [CTRL], Attrition, Signal Aout 42, Psy’Aviah, Hypnoskull or yet the promising EX.ES) brings a different feel to the table from be it straight noise to just oontz up in your face or even solid electro clash sounds. If you are a listener that has been sitting your jaded ass in a chair daring any band to impress you this would be the release for you.
