Derrick Stembridge aka DIS here delivers a little pearl of new-style ambient music. He composes great and heavenly atmospheres, which have been completed and reinforced by danceable rhythms and a few vocals. “Fallto” is a quite diversified release, which makes this production really fascinating. The mix of electronics and guitar parts are complementary resulting in an exciting sound. It can be now rather quiet and driven by soft trip hop rhythms (cf. “Fallto”) while next comes a song with much more power and even EBM elements in the background (cf. “Unknowndivide”; featuring Hewitt of Drev) to end in a pure trance approach with the remix of “Chameleon” by Eletronic. DIS has a lot to offer and next to real cool songs, this album also stands for a professional production in sound.
