Industrial Music CDs at Storming The Base

Based partly in Toronto (Canada) and Reykjavik (Iceland) DP appears to be a quite good surprise! The electronic compositions are mingling good-old 80s electronics (especially some of the drums) together with minimal techno influences. Most of the tracks are quite linear although written with some irresistible sound-sculptures. The more you enter the sonic universe of this project, the more they really start to convince you by a refreshing sound. With cuts like “The Sky”, “War Is A Pogrom” (featuring a few vocals), “Forn Again” (quite “Underpass”-sounding of John Foxx) and the heavier “Moratorium” DP has enough potential to incite every open-minded electro lover to discover their music. Nothing groundbreaking, but just a real pleasant release! www.beatcamp.com (DP:7)DP.
