Indianhead is a British project I had already discovered a couple of years ago now. Albums have been released on irregular basis, but have the merit to show a real progression in sound and ideas. The new album reveals a stronger presence of electronic arrangements while ambient ideas and electro-industrial influences à la Dive make the whole picture. The dark and heavy opener “Wwiv” serves as perfect introduction to this new cd. The next cut entitled “The feeling still” seems like evoking distant Muslimgauze influences, but more elaborated and featuring some vocals. The best is yet to come with the astonishing and pure horror like “Cromatica (zone 2-1)” and “Weak” mixing elements of dark electronics and industrial. The fans of Dive will be pleased by the “Wrench withdrawn”-cut. There’s a lot to experience on this new album, which also marks a good evolution for Indianhead! www.serial01.co.uk (DP:6/7)DP.
