More and more remastered Kraftwerk 8CD promo boxsets auctioned via eBay

The decision from EMI and Kraftwerk to postpone the release of the remastered 8CD set is having some weird consequences. More and more promo copies of the 8CD boxset "Catalog 12345678" are now being auctioned via eBay. The albums come in cardboard sleeves united in a white cardboard box. To be released commercially in 2004 but withdrawn at the last minute it has become a much wanted item. Notice that with the dollar being extremely cheap, lots of Europeans are winning the bids. The most recent auction can be found here and is a true bargain considering that the promotional set is rather rare to find. So far there are no plans to make the set commercially available. For your info, strictly speaking it is forbidden to auction promo only releases and Kraftwerk has been known to intervene in auctions on eBay before. So far none of the the boxset auctions have been removed, instead they have all been sold at quite reasonable prices (for Europeans that is).
