Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (A-ha) debuted new project Waaktaar with 'Manmade Lake'Posted on 10/02/14
A-ha's main songwriter Paul Waaktaar-Savoy has released his first track under the name Waaktaar. The song is called "Manmade Lake" and the track was originally included on an early track list for A-ha's 2009 album, "Foot of the Mountain". You can listen to and download the track below.
That the new project is called Waaktaar is not such a coincidence, the songwriter also formed Savoy together with his wife, American filmmaker and musician Lauren Waaktaar-Savoy. Got the name playing game? They produced several CDs aunder the Savoy trademark and achieved quite some success in Norway, selling over 300,000 records. A-ha also recorded the Savoy penned track "Velvet" for their "Minor Earth, Major Sky" album.
